Good food, good prices, and a very sweet hostess/server. I had the smoke wings crispy and tried their new appetizer Cowboy nuggets, also delicious. It was made with cream cheese, bacon, corn, jalapeno bombers. My husband enjoyed a pork sandwich and fries. They also have homemade cakes for dessert.Hope you stop and give it a try, I'm sure glad we did!!

Took about an hour to be served food. Also over priced. Absolutely not worth the stop.

Damn good burger! Tasted the pulled pork it wa good too. Fries could have been cooked longer.

Worst bbq I've ever had. Don't order the potato salad. Chicken seemed to have smoky flavour but skin was still fatty indicating it was not actually smoked in a pit. Sauce seemed to be from a bottle. Very bad service.

Save your money and go to Larry's BBQ in Enterprise. You can get a great sandwich, two sides and a drink for the same price as a sandwich and fries here.Oh yeah, the food is also better at Larry's. This place also allows smoking.

I decided to eat at this barbecue place today it was the overall horrible experience. The special was barbecuesandwich fries and drink for $8.75. I also ordered a side of cowboy nuggets for $6.95. By my mouth my bill should’ve been $15.70 + $1.09 tax. = $16.79. When I went to the register she told me it was $19.95. Not thinking I paid it when I left I got to thinking and realize that she charge me three dollars more and then I called back to make sure I heard the special right and I did. SCAM SCAM SCAM

Update: Sept 26, 2019Went to eat tonight and all was calm and quiet no riff raff around. Food and service was great. Thank you for a much better environment. We will be coming back more often!Owner is a great lady but riff raff hangs around causing trouble.

The ribs were superb and my daughter loved her burger. I have no complaints. Stop in and give it a try.

I was passing through Troy, AL and saw a sign on this really cool looking bbq restaurant and had to stop. BEST DECISION EVER! I was greeted warmly by the Bartender Josie. She was very welcoming, kind and fantastic at her Job. I had a great time! The pulled pork sandwich was savery and delectable. Let me tell you she makes a mean drink too! I hated that i had to leave, but I'll DEFINITELY BE BACK!

Nice people but the food is nasty. The ribs had so much fat on them with no seasoning. They tasted like something out of the oven. The baked beans tasted like they were straight out the can, and the potato salad was very bland. Overall, it was nasty no type of seasoning. Definitely don’t recommend.

Terrible service. Waited 15 minutes for someone to take our order and another 45 minutes for my food to arrive. Half of the people at our table received food 10 minutes before the other half. Better off cooking your own BBQ at home.

Great place, character, good food. Was driving so only got wings and onion rings and mmmm mmmm. Getting a pint of bbq next!

Place was empty when I stopped in for a couple sandwiches to go. But I loved the way it was set up with small dining area and then bar in adjacent room. Ladies in restaurant area were very nice, sandwiches were good, little pricey to other BBQ places I've eaten, but prices are going up everywhere. Would like to visit this place on a Friday or Saturday night just to check out the bar, looked like my kind of "hole in the wall", but cuter.

To be respectful the nicest way to say anything about this place is that the food is overcooked in the crockpot & overpriced.

Me & my boyfriend stopped there today to grab something for lunch. The waitress was very nice & the food was GREAT!! We enjoyed our food & will be back again.

Every time I went ive had a great time. The recreation is fun like for 2 things shooting Pool , and karroke. The employees are well mannered and the aura itself is great. And the food was amazing also. I'd strongly recommend it

This is what $21.26 gets you. Looks like about 1/2 lb of smoked brisket then left to boil the rest of the way(aka pot roast). Baked beans were good. Coleslaw was ok. Tea was good. I might have enjoyed it a little more if my I wasn't still writhing in pain from the cost of the meal.

Just had their bbq pork ribs and its about the best pork ribs I've ever eaten. Fantastic service and fun. We will definitely be back.

Have passed by this place numerous times and always heard good things about them,so,tonight on my way back home I decided to stop by and check them out... GREAT DECISION! I got the 1lb rib plate and was very pleased! The ribs were tender,juicy and Smokey. Will definitely go back next time I'm North of Troy

My husband and I were passing through on a long haul and stopped in for lunch. Perfect little southern charm place. The food is great and fresh, service was awesome. Pam is a true southern belle. The environment had a country, down home southern welcoming. Just what you imagine when think southern bbq. I highly recommend the red velvet cake..... best ever. And yes trucks are welcome. Will definitely go back!!!

Excellent bbq plate and my wife had the bbq nachos which were also quite delicious. The price is on point with the amount of food you get as well.

I’m just leaving The BBQ House, was offered the day’s special of a pulled pork BBQ sandwich, fries, and a drink for 8.75. Also I ordered an order of corn nuggets for 3.75. When I go to pay, my total is 16.24... I didn’t argue I just paid and carried own but I added it up. 8.75+3.75=12.50 then you add tax on that at 8% that’s a dollar in taxes, sooo my total should have been 13.50!?!?I think it’s safe to say this was a total rip off, because it didn’t just happen to me it happen to a buddy of mine.... NOT WORTH THE STOP OR TIME BTW sweet tea was terrible! Hey

I truly enjoyed the pulled pork sandwich...it was excellent !!As for the coleslaw and the bbq beans, they really need some work.The coleslaw taste too bland and earthy...and the bbq beans had a very very subtle burned taste to it and it needs to be more sweet in my opinion.Other than that it's a nice stop with nice people...just a bit pricey though.

Food was good, played pool for 3 hours and the other people around were friendly, good atmosphere. Slightly rude employees.

I went there to get some BBQ and it was expensive to eat there and I will never go back to eat there again.

The waitress was deep South accent and sounded so sweet. Cute too. The ribs were so good they didn't need sauce. Their natural flavor was amazing. They melted in your mouth and the meat easily just fell off the bone. Cooked to perfection. Not skinny ribs, but fat and thick full of meat. The baked beans and onion rings are home made and perfect. The onion rings were fat and thick, every one of them, and each was cooked to perfection.

Well I thought the good was pretty good...Haven't Had Beef Brisket in a while...It was very tender and melts away as u chew.....my only complaint is the 🍸 area needs to have ventilation...but other than I enjoyed my experience THERE...And will recommend to my family n friends....

Great atmosphere for family night out or having a few drinks at the bar. Food is outstanding with warm hospitable service. Kind of like Cheers. Whether you're on your bike or just stopping in off the road for a quick bite. Can't beat it!

If I were basing my review on the food only it would be a little higher. The service was bad and it smelled like an ash tray. I didn't realize there was a bar attached or I wouldn't have stopped. The food was decent and the lady who brought it to is was nice, which was the one who cooked it, not our waitress. The price of drinks is high, $1.50 for tap water and $3.00 for sugar...I mean tea. The waitress rushed us to get our order at first and then didn't even bother to come to the table to take our order but instead stood behind the cash register and we had to tell it to her. We won't be back.

Delicious pulled pork sandwiches & ribs ! Fried okra, Hot Wings, + Deep fried corn nugget's I loved. I will be back someday..

What a delicious surprise on the way from Montgomery, AL, to Dothan, AL! We ordered pull pork sandwiches and brisket sandwich all with fries. It was ready almost immediately and cooked perfectly.

I love it 🐒 My Husband and I stop by every now again...order a BBQ sandwich play a game of pool while we wait. Nice people, calm atmosphere, good music 😋 & Good food. So anyone hungry for a satisfying lunch...or traveling by stop and chill out for a few minutes.

We ordered a half rib plate and a bbq plate and it was some of the best food we've ever eaten. Service was top-notch. Highly recommended!!

BBQ was ok. Hamburger was very thin and dry. Serving sizes were very small and over priced!

The food is great although very overpriced for what you get. A small BBQ Pork Sandwich $6.00 with no sides. A side is $2.80. They have no original BBQ Sauce. All they have is some very sweet "out of the bottle" sauce (which they put on your meat whether you request it or not) and what appeared to be red hot sauce and mustard mix. Having said all that, the food quality was excellent.

We visited here on Sat June 15th. The food was great and our waitress was great even though you could tell she was having a bad day! Definitely worth visiting again

We stopped here and the food was "ok" but the waitress was horrible. She took our order and was just rude she said we have coke products tea but no water. Okay lol We had 2 toddlers and she gave 2 teens that was sitting behind us crayons and coloring pages did not offer to us. She was just rude. She knocked my moms drink over and we cleaned it up we had to ask for another drink. She warmed a little as we sat there but wow. So if you want friendly pretty sure this ain't the place.

Dropped through Troy AL for work and couldn’t have been treated nicer at this fine BBQ joint. Came back every nice I was in town in fact. Great place.

Interesting restaurant, the meat was very tender, but the accompaniments were not, the potato salad very cooked, it seemed pure potatoes. The exquisite soup.
